new job, same employer?

As it's November and we're getting to the end of the calendar year, I thought I'd take a look back at the past 12 months before I progress with my next plans. (As a coach I'm often planning goals and looking forward, but it's essential to reflect too.)

And one thing surprised me.

In the past year, I've spent more time coaching people to secure promotion or development within their existing organisation than coaching those seeking to leave their employer or career.

This surprises me because I keep reading about how many people are planning to leave their current employer now we are coming out of the pandemic. And it's being reported that it's not just people dreaming about a different job. They are taking action and changing jobs.
